Self-aligning Ball Bearings

These bearings come in internal and external types. Internal bearings have an outer-ring ball groove ground to a spherical surface. This surface makes these auto bearings insensitive to misalignment, but increases raceway contact stresses, which cuts load capacity.

Thrust Roller Bearings

Thrust roller bearings are separable bearings, can only withstand axial load and a slight impact, to limit the shaft (or shell) of the axial displacement in one direction, it can be used as single-axis to the position.

Pilow Block Bearing

The pillow block bearing is actually a variant of the deep groove ball bearing. the outer surface of the outer ring is spherical.
